Couples Therapy

You haven’t spoken to each other for weeks, and the silence feels heavy, almost unbearable. When you try to talk, it ends in shouting, tears or withdrawal. You wonder if love - or hope - still exists between you. And yet, separation doesn’t feel like the answer. Imagine a space where you can truly hear each other, give each other room and slowly reconnect - where intimacy, closeness and understanding can begin to return, perhaps for the first time in a long while.

Together, We Rebuild What Matters Most

I'm here for you both – whether you're navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or rediscovering connection. I bring warmth, structure and practical tools to help couples create the relationship you both deserve. My integrative approach combines Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness – attuned to your unique story.

No blame. No sides. Just progress.

Common Questions Couples Ask

We've tried therapy before – why would this be different?

I focus on both partners going deep into your experiences and feelings – uncovering the vulnerable emotions beneath arguments. Together, we map and understand these negative cycles so you can rebuild connection.

What can we expect in our sessions?

You'll each share your experiences while I hold compassionate space. We'll map your communication styles and you'll be able to practice new ways of reaching each other.

What if only one of us wants to come?

Perfectly normal! Many couples start this way. Book your first couples therapy session to see if we are a good match. No obligation to continue. Most couples feel hopeful after the initial session.

Will you tell us who's 'right'?

Never. My role is understanding both truths. I help you hear each other. Both of your stories matter.

How long until we see change?

It depends on your issues and commitment – you might choose just a few sessions or work up to 20. Most couples notice shifts in 4-8 sessions. Monthly follow-ups are always an option to sustain your progress.

What if we're thinking about separation?

Many couples rebuild trust and connection – but some choose to go separate ways. Therapy clarifies all paths. Whichever path you decide, I will support you through your decision with compassion and clarity.

Are there any limitations in couples therapy?

Yes, if there is an ongoing affair, any form of abuse or severe addiction present, we may need to gently pause couples work. In these tender situations, individual support or referral to specialised resources often provide the strongest foundation first - always with your safety and healing at heart. I'm here to guide towards the right next steps without judgement.

We finally saw we were both hurting. Now we reach for each other.
